Every time I try to click on a video to see inside reports on the protests in Iran, I get the dreaded "This video has been removed due to terms of use violation."

When I click on the username of the ones who uploaded the former files, I read "This user has been suspended."

I seriously hate what Youtube has become.

Wtf, Britain?

Freshman year is over

I'm a sophomore arch student now!

I'm going to die in studio next year!

I can finally say that I like my legs now. The scar marks have lightened up a lot and having to constantly walk everywhere has toned my calves. It's been years since I've worn shorts outside of a pool setting, but I can confidently say I will wear a pair this summer.

I plan on making a music post about the bands and artists who got me through this year (bands that I'm fresh to and bands that I've listened to off and on, but being bored in my room led me to becoming a full-fledged fan). I have time because I'm trying to catch up on sleep before going out for job searching. The list is a secret (but if you know my Last.fm account, it's really obvious).

 Okay, that's it for now.

Yay for Ice Days!

This is my second day off. Yesterday was gross and it sucked (and it snowed while I was asleep. So pissed.), but today it's bright and sunny. Unfortunately (or fortunately for all the students/professors), there's ice all over the roads (seriously, the basketball court at my dorm is only NOW starting to thaw out) so we have no school again. We were supposed to resume at noon, but then UTA was like, "omg, safety!" so I stay in my dorm.

LOST TONIGHT WITH EMILY.

Back to eating beefaroni.

FUCK YEAH!

(and while I am not the biggest fan of Obama, I am still very happy for his win!)

Torchwood

Since I am being engulfed by the Doctor Who universe, it only makes sense that I get involved with Torchwood, too. That's probably because I saw Capt. Jack for the first time and fell in love because he's a charming mfer.

I blame Emily completely for this.

Marathon next weekend. I do not have any time to spare this weekend. 3 tests and 2 papers? DYING.

Tentative Spring Schedule

History of the United States (HIST 1312; 1877-Present) - TTh 9:30 - 10:50 am or 11:00 - 12:20 (depends on my professor)
State/Local Government (POLS 2312) - MWF 11:00 - 11:50 am
French IV (FREN 2314)  - MW 5:30 - 6:50 pm
Algebra & Trig (MATH 1324) - ??? (Not on the spring schedule yet DESPITE me being repeated it would be available every semester)
Global Cultures (ANTH 2322) - MW 2:30 - 3:50 pm

I would take an Arch course but none of the classes I want are CAP approved, so I can't. ANTH 2322 is just a class I'm taking so that my total hours will equal to 30.

Update

I don't like Arlington all that much. I'd rather be in Austin for next year, but I can't be.

Reasons I don't like Arlington: No public transit system. Can you believe there is a public train running parallel to the campus, and next to my damn window, but only people in Dallas and Fort Worth can get on it? Also, there's nothing to do here but shop and eat, which is exactly what I tried to get away from in college. This city is so surburban it hurts.

Well, it looks like I'll be completing another year here. Maybe I'll transfer Junior year...but then I'd probably ruin any potential chances to garner officer positions (even though I'm currently in one right now). I mean the high ranking ones that matter...like becoming the future President of Societe de Francophones (currently Events Director)...

Hm, yeah. Of all the tests I've taken lately, I've gotten two A's (Intro to Arch & PoliSci), two B's (History & French), and...one F in Pre-Cal, of course. I'm forecasting A's in English, PoliSci, intro to Arch, and possibly History. Maybe a high B in History...but I want an A. French is audited so it doesn't count (but I would see a solid "B" in it), and hopefully a C or higher in Pre-Cal. This class is going to ruin my GPA, I already know it.

I have a lot to do this weekend...but I've become adicted to Netflix (Roomie #1, Rashmi, and I have become really close and we've been having Friday Movie Nights).

I should have a journal entry about my roomies and what I think about them. I get along with both of them, definitely, for many reasons. The biggest one is that we don't all live in the same room. Damnit, I love suite life.

Okay, back to debating on whether or not to research for English or watch Buddha of Suburbia.
